"In God We Trust, everybody else pays cash!" - Sign over cash register
An everyday example of contract law and lawyers in action happens like this: Bai Ying, a customer. orders goods from his supplier, Seah Ling. Seah Ling's delivery man sends the goods. Bai Ying says he'll pay later. So delivery man goes back.Sometime later, Bai Ying finds something wrong with the goods. He does not try to return all of them immediately. Neither does he pay Seah Ling the agreed price in full. Nor does he make any payment at all.
