Launched in September, the portal presents itself as a legal application software provider that helps firms to conduct online lawyering with a suite of Web-enabled legal tools, according to Susan Tay, WWLegal.com's director of strategic planning and business development.

The portal matches clients with lawyers specialising in the fields that best suit their cases including civil and criminal litigation, corporate, family and property matters, Ms Tay explained.

The firm boasts a pool of 103 Singapore law firms, and an additional 30 law firms which are equipped with payment capabilities, which the public can tap on. WWLegal.com also offers chatrooms for both lawyers and the public.

Members from the public can register at the site (http://www.wwlegal.com/) for free, and gain access to services like finding relevant lawyers for advice and monitoring status of the case.
