The Health Products Act, passed in Parliament on 12 February 2007, gives the Health Sciences Authority (HSA) more powers to regulate medical products and devices. It also increased the penalties against those who break the law.

BBC Looks At Microsoft Vista's EULA

The British Broadcasting Corporation in an article posted on 1 February 2007 claims that "Vista seemingly wrestles control of the 'user experience' from the user" and includes extensive provisions granting Microsoft the right to regularly check the legitimacy of the software and holds the prospect of deleting certain programs without the user's knowledge. As legally trained professionals, lawyers should be aware of what the EULA contains.

The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and the Ministry of Law (MinLaw) have jointly issued their responses to feedback received from a public consultation on the proposed changes to the unsecured credit rules and the proposed application of these rules to moneylenders. Singapore And Ukraine Sign Avoidance Of Double Taxation Agreement

Singapore signed her 61st Agreement for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income with Ukraine. Mr. Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Second Minister for Finance, signed on behalf of Singapore while Mr. Mykola Azarov, First Vice Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, signed on behalf of Ukraine. The signing took place in conjunction with Mr. Azarov’s visit to Singapore.
