Legal Aid Scheme Extended

The coverage of persons eligible for legal aid has been extended to include approximately the 40th percentile of households in Singapore, up from the 30th percentile previously.
The example cited by a news channel showed that the qualifying monthly household income for a family of four will now increase from $1,980 to about $2,600 (including CPF contributions).
