The Infocomm Development Authority (IDA) of Singapore had briefed the industries at the IT Industry Briefing conducted on 26 April 2007.

The larger purchases include disposal of sludge for water recycling plants ($70m by PUB), 2 tenders for street cleaning ($70m by NEA) and setting up of a port operations control centre ($18m by MPA).

More information on these government tenders can be found on the Government’s e-Business (GeBIZ) website at http://www.gebiz.gov.sg.

The plan for public sector procurement was introduced in 2003 by the Ministry of Finance to inform suppliers about opportunities in Government procurement.
